Vanakkam!
The boy wakes up at 7.15 a.m at home and winks for few minutes as of what to do today.A huge sound from kitchen traveled till the boy's ear doors and the boy got alert of it.He slowly started crawling without making a sense of noise and stood near the door of the kitchen.To his wonder he saw his mom taking out A bowl of rice and soaking it into water and searching for "Payatham Paruppu" (Moong dhall) .He then moved slowly to his mom and asked
"Amma enna panra..Inikki kaalaailayum sooru dhaana"(Mom what are you preparing,as usual Boiled white Rice only know).
Mom replied "Illa da paithyam.I am preparing pongal"(I am doing Pongal ,not boiled white rice you fool).
Last night before going to bed the boy talked over phone to his teacher ,and he came to know that his teacher is very much fed up as his family left him alone and went for a marriage for five days.The teacher was damn hungry that when he talked to the boy he said,
"Pasila Thavikka vittu poitanga da..Sapadarthukku onnumae illa..Avanga mattum nalla sapadu daily kottikaranga!!" (My family members have left me into an ocean of hunger.They all are enjoying happily having nice delicacies at proper time,but I am now entangled in this hunger problem").
So the boy asked his mom after preparing the pongal pack the pongal in two dabbas (Utensils) .Mom also did the same thing.After the packing is over,the boy commanded his mom to prepare "Kadalai Paruppu Getti Chutney"(Bengal Gram dhall paste).as a side dish .The boy backpacked the chutney in one dabba .Now all the food packings are over.He rushed into bath room and finished his bath within 5 mins and dressed up quickly.Then he placed all the food packing inside his bag and asked 50 rupees from his mom for his travel expense".Mom gave 50 rupees,but all of a sudden the boy's dad intervened and gave the boy an extra 100 rupees for his travel..What to say now the boy got really happy and in mere jubilation he said,
"Adra sakka adra sakka adra sakka"..Then he went a hotel and bought three Medu Vadas for his sir.He catches the bus at 8.15 a.m and reached his sir's home around 9.20 a.m...He rings the door bell and sir opened the door standing with a towel tied round his waist.The boy uttered
"Enna sirey ippo dhaan kulichittu varinga pola irukku?(What sir it seems now only you took bath)
Sir replied,'Aamam ya,ippo dhaan kulichitu varen.Sapadarthukku enna pannanum nu therila.'(Yes dear,i Don't know what to do for breakfast now).The boy slowly entered into the hall and the sir asked the boy to sit in the sofa.The boy sat on the sofa and both of them had a normal conversation for half an hour.Once the conversation was over,the boy slowly took the packing out of his bag and didn't bring it to the notice of his sir.The sir went outside for few minutes telling that
"you wait here;I will go and get noodles and prepare it for us".The boy said ok sir with a sarcastic grin.
Before the comeback of his sir,the boy arranged the pongal and chutney in a nice dining fashion and with vada sambar.When the sir came back he was surprisingly shocked seeing the dining table and at that instant itself he embraced the boy,called his family members over phone and mocked his wife saying,
"Hey neengalam mattun dhaan daily pongal ,vada,Idly,poori lam sapduvingala naanga sapdamaatoma;en singa kutty enakkaga pongal vada eduthuttu vanthurukkan de....Ponga de neengalum unga kalyana goshtiyum"(you people only will daily eat pongal,vada,poori,idly;I won't eat ah.My student ,son of a lion has brought me pongal and vada .The whole marriage gang is of no use for me).
After eating the pongal and vada,the sir was very much happy.Now this boy rang the phone to another boy who is his friend and made him to come to sir's home.Finally out of a great love and compassion of boy's love ,the sir who is in debts and will not get salary for this month (as he applied for resignation in his college this month),never minding the financial crisis at his home,took these two students to temple in his car and then gave treat in hotel "Sangeetha" for rs.1200..The two students nicely had "4 Naan's with Paneer butter masala and gobi 65..Around 8.45 p.m the students got off from sir's car as sir dropped them in bus stop and they moved to their home from there taking a bus.
"Kasa unkitenthu pudungum figure venam da;nama pongal kudutha treat kudukkum sir pothum daaa"....
